Bill Kirchen

I saw Bill play to about 100 people in a funky little club in London (Nell's) in Nov 2023.
Just before leaving the house to go to the show, in a rare moment of clarity, I scooped up a spare Telecaster pickguard. After the show, Bill was kind enough to sign it for me. 
We chatted for a while about his guitar and Commander Cody among other things and as I made to leave so someone else could get a word in, I realised he signed the wrong side of the pickguard, so I had to get him to sign it again. CRINGE. He was so patient and such a gentleman.

As for the show, he and his 3-piece band were sublime. If you get a chance to see Bill, take it. He’s the Titan Of The Telecaster, The King Of Dieselbilly! Fantastic feelgood music from a true master.
