Colby O’Donis had a huge rise to fame when he featured on Lady Gaga’s breakthrough single, “Let’s Dance”, which of course was nominated for two Grammy Awards. Tonight of course there is of course a cloud of haze hovering above the stage and the standing area that the audience are stood in, ready to throw some shapes.
The support bands have done their bits, and now the crew are shifting gear around the stage in anticipation for this fantastic singer to take to the stage. The volume of the applause rises and falls over the next 15 minutes.
Colby walks out onto the stage with a great presence knowing exactly what he is about to deliver to this audience. Opening with his second single “Don’t Turn Back”, the audience go wild, and begin to sing along to every song, almost everyone in the room has engaged in some sort of dance. “What You Got” is a fantastic follow up song, which keeps these energy levels soaring. He isn’t a stranger to what made his career so big with the reference to Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” again, reciprocated by a huge amount of applause. He draws the night to a close and teases the audience with a medley of songs from his forthcoming album, “Start Over”.
