Since an epiphany I had years ago concerning the nature of the time continuum I’ve been happily aware of the Here Now: my most recent, wisest self: the tip of the speeding bullet - but still. All of us in a room witnessing Zhenya’s music: all shiny, pointy missiles hurtling through our lives: all in a line: no one faster or slower than the other: except Zhenya Strigalev, Jamie Murray & Tim Lefebvre. Their bullets are just a tad ahead of the rest of us. The Here Now is stretched to accept the magic they give us. We are all (ALL!) awestruck and floundering in time following their cosmic meanderings.
All of this wonder is rooted in the firm lyrically melodic compositions of Mr Strigalev. Always a story to follow- a story of our own construction but undeniably a story. My stories are ultimately blissful and that couldn’t be without the transcendental playing of these three musicians all as talented as one could ever wish of them. And they will only get better. Go.
