Hundreds of fists pump the air, led by DJ John Dahlback as he creates a jumping beat. His fist is raised just as high as those of his fans, encouraging them, though they seem to need no encouragement, to lose themselves in his music. It's not a difficult thing to do, as his music is almost overwhelming in it's crush of sound and movement. Dahlback himself sets the example by being in constant motion throughout the show, turning the knobs, bobbing his head, and pumping his fists. John Dahlback, also known as Kaliber, Huggotron, Hug, and Jetboy of Beckster, is a DJ and house music producer from Sweden. A jack of all trades in the music business, he not only produces music, but is also the owner and founder of both Mutants Records and Pickadoll Records. He is a music powerhouse: his first album, Shades of Shadow, was released in 2005, followed in the same year with Man From the Fall and, just one year later, At the Gun Show in 2006. He released three more albums, Winners & Fools, Mutants, and Kill the Silence, in 2008, 2010, and 2012, respectively. As well as having produced six albums, he has also produced multiple compilations and several hit singles, including “Blink” and “Start Lovin' You”. If you haven't seen Dahlback live, it's time you did. You won't be disappointed!
