Its been an epic 5 years for the independent party pad The Silver Bullet and to celebrate in style they’ve invested in a brand spanking new Void Acoustics Sound System and invited BENNY PAGE along to blast out some blissful bass for their birthday bash on Friday June 5th.
Heavily inspired by the bass lines of dub music, ragga jungle and Hip Hop a Benny Page production does not go unheard in today’s ever changing bass music culture and his name has become synonymous with heavyweight dance-floor tracks and clinical mixing skills.
Over the past decade the Shy Fx protégé has played a definitive role in shaping the sounds of the UK’s drum and bass movement and is currently preparing his 1st studio album voiced by an array of Jamaican vocal legends including Beenie Man, Protoje, Big Youth and Assasin.
Joining Benny for the celebration of the century are the banging brother duo, PHBES, dub- reggae collective DUBTASTIC MUSIC as well as up and coming female rapper HOLLY FLO LIGHTLY.
Recent winners of the Krafty Kuts “Back To The Beats” DJ competiton the PHIBES brothers never fail to ignite the dance floor with their own exclusive edits and dance floor bangers.
Also donning the decks with a deliriously delicious set of tasty tracks is DJ ORANGE – expect a seamless selction of big booty basslines, juicy jungle, ghetto-flexing glitch-hop and raw ragga riddims.
With the spate of closures of some of London’s best independent music venues there is more to celebrate than ever that The Silver Bullet is still standing strong.
