The Hackney Colliery Band and DJ Yoda

Hackney’s brass pioneers celebrate their tenth anniversary with an energetic and collaborative live show.

Described as ‘one of the greatest live bands that we have in this country’ by BBC Radio 2, over a ten year career HCB's unique blend of driving rhythm, powerful horns and introspective electronics have steered their live sets. In this concert they present material from their latest album Collaborations: Volume One, a celebration of their proudly eclectic taste and collaborative spirit.

This show will feature some of the album’s musical guests including British jazz funk legend James Taylor, writer and performer Rob Auton, composer (and one third of cult rock band Three Trapped Tigers) Tom Rogerson, and many more to be announced. Expect a lively night of music, showmanship and collaboration.
