The Ministry of Sound Australia alumnus, Tommy Trash, has this wild, Gold Coast Crowd excited for this performance. Performing to a 10,000 strong crowd on a beach, with the setting song and the crashing waves as the tide comes in for the night is the dreamscape that is setting for this evening. There is warm up music from various local DJs setting the pace for the evening, this EDM hungry crowd throw around neon paints, powder paints and probably just normal paint! Who knows? This Aria Music Award nominee, Tommy Trash struts to his turntables, his laptop, and his general setup, sunglasses and vest, arms raised in greetings to this receptive crowd. There is a fantastic build up to this drop; the crowd is extremely excited in anticipation. There is a fantastic moment when the beat drops, that the whole beach erupts, the entire audience jumping up and down to the beat. It is one of those minimalistic beats, where it is a four to the floor bass drum, complete with a Cuban rhythm on top. Trash plays into the sunset, and keeps this party going through until the early hours of the morning.
Electro house is a genre dominated by Europe, some of the most iconic artists have come from Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK. An artist set to change this is Australian Ministry of Sound alumni Tommy Trash. Real name Thomas Olsen has been working on his craft since 2009 on the beaches of his home country and his sets definitely reflect the surf party mentality.

The sets are created with a great balance of Tommy's popular singles as well as remixes and dance tracks from a whole variety of decades. He has a great ability in mixing the likes of Nicky Romero and Eurythmics into one and other and making it work. These gems keep the audience jumping, dancing and cheering along with the irresistible beats. It is an overall energetic, exciting and raucous show proving that it is not only Europe that can make great dance music. Tommy successfully brings a slice of the Aussie beach parties wherever he goes.
